Fleetwood Waste Management Website

NEED:  Fleetwood Waste Management were looking for a refresh of their website that better reflected their changing services.

SOLUTION: A new website was developed in conjunction with Kika Marketing, with new copy designed to raise awareness of Fleetwood Waste Management’s new services and increase equipment rentals and bookings.

Triple R Construction Website

NEED:  Triple R Construction wanted a new website that showcased the full range of services they offered clients.

SOLUTION: New website was designed in conjunction with Honeycomb Webworks, with copy designed to raise awareness of Triple R Construction’s services and increase the rate of home consultation bookings.

Lan Sabai Website

NEED:  Lan Sabai was looking for a new website that would promote their resort as a retreat for both the public and coaching seminars and share their new coaching and retreat packages, available nowhere else in Thailand.

SOLUTION: New website was designed with copy focused on promoting the benefits of the new coaching and retreat packages. New copy also streamlined the benefits of the resort amenities and activities packages.

 

Nicki K Media Website

NEED: Nick K Media is a new  company that needed a website to act as the hub for all of her associated brands and courses.

SOLUTION: New website was designed with copy focusing on the Nicki K Media philosophy, the benefits of working with Nicki and her team and positioning Nicki as an industry expert for press opportunities

Love Vancity Gift Boxes Website

NEED:  Love Vancity Gift Boxes needed a website to launch their gift box initiative, featuring products from local brands. The initiative was designed to help local brands earn revenue during the pandemic and give $5 from the sale of each box to local non-profits and causes supporting frontline workers and affected businesses.

SOLUTION: New website was designed with copy that focuses on the goals of Love Vancity Gift Boxes and the people each themed box is designed to benefit. Each box is themed for food lovers, self-care, date nights and for anyone who need a break.

Axara Brochure

NEED: SIDLER was announcing their new Axara line of mirrored bathroom cabinetry and needed new marketing collateral for their showrooms and tradeshows their sales reps would attend.

SOLUTION: Benefit and feature driven copy was provided for the SIDLER Axara brochure, focusing on how the new features can lead to a more luxury bathroom experience.

Factory on Fire Design

NEED: Justin Ray, a GDC certified graphic designer, was looking for more clients at the height of the recession in 2009 and wanted an ad in a magazine to help generate leads.

SOLUTION: Copy for the ad focused on how strategic thinking and great design can help brands stand out, even during market downturns.

Tyee Flyer

NEED: Local, independent newspaper, The Tyee had a booth at the Vancouver Literary Festival and they wanted to increase online subscriptions.

SOLUTION: Benefit focused copy for the flyer was focused on enticing potential subscribers to try & win the contest at the booth (with a prize) and sign up for a free subscription of the paper. The flyer resulted in over 50 prize giveaways and an increase of subscriptions by 25% from previous years.

SIDLER Priolo

NEED: SIDLER was launching their new Priolo line of mirrored bathroom cabinetry and needed stickers that would be affixed to the product and show consumers all the top features and benefits.

SOLUTION: Feature & benefit focused copy was used to create the product stickers that automatically provided consumers with important information on their new bathroom cabinetry.

Malibu by Pamela fragrance launch

NEED: Canadian actress, fashion icon & activist Pamela Anderson was launching a new fragrance and needed an email campaign to reach the 30,000+ fans and subscribers on her email list and website.

SOLUTION: Copy focused on how the fragrance will make customers feel & its features was written for the official launch email. After being send to 30,000+ subscribers, the fragrance was sold out from the online store on Pamela’s website in 7 days.

eShowing Now!

NEED: Realestock.com needed an email campaign for the launch of eShowing Now, their new marketing platform that would allow sellers to set a low monthly budget and only pay when their ad is viewed.  

SOLUTION: Benefit focused, feature driven copy was created for the launch email, along with a special discount for the first month. The result was 20 new customers signing up to try the new service.

Steve Nash Fitness Clubs audiogram ad

NEED: Steve Nash Fitness Clubs was announcing the grand opening of a new gym location in Victoria and wanted local advertising to attract more clients in the area to sign up for memberships.

SOLUTION: The ad announcing the grand opening and raffle prizes available from local sponsors like NICHE Magazine and David’s Tea along with free gym classes was written for Zone 91.3 FM radio station. Results included over 500 attendees for the grand opening and nearly 100 new memberships.

Social Media Marketing

CTV Vancouver Island

NEED: CTV Vancouver Island had lost all of their previous audience on social media after the station had been purchased by Bell Media and needed help generating content & bringing their audience back.

SOLUTION: The content calendar I developed featuring breaking news stories and contests, led to audience numbers on all platforms growing by 107%.

The Workflow Book

NEED: Self-help author, teacher and animator Doron Meir needed help to promote his book, The Workflow Book, ahead of several workshops he was holding and festivals where he was a guest presenter.

SOLUTION: The resulting 3 month social media content calendar & campaign execution saw the recognition of The Workflow Book go up by 50% and sell outs of the book at every festival Doron presented and exhibited at.

Press Coverage

Blood In the Snow Festival podcast

NEED: Director Jennifer Nicole Stang’s indie horror/fantasy short film, The Whistler, was screening at Blood in the Snow Horror Film Festival in Toronto. This festival provided ample opportunity to connect with film investors & distributors.

SOLUTION: The interview with the Canada wide Blood in the Snow festival podcast led to meetings with several distributors such as Turn Key Films, before signing an agreement with Shudder.

Pikanik Allergen Free Bakery

NEED: Joanna Schultz, owner of Pikanik, an allergen free bakery, wanted more exposure to help drive more orders for all of her products.

SOLUTION: The resulting PR campaign, including the interview and recipe in the Everyday Allergen Free led to an increase in products being ordered from Pikanik’s website by 15%.

Brian Luptak on CTV Vancouver

NEED: EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival needed a PR campaign to boost ticket sales for signature events, chef collaboration dinners and exclusive classes.

SOLUTION: The PR campaign resulted several renowned Canadian chefs interviewing and performing cooking demos on major Canadian media outlets such as CTV Vancouver, CBC and CKNW, which led to sold out events, dinners & classes.

Popsugar Article Featuring Relationship Coach Tara Caffelle

NEED: Relationship coach Tara Caffelle wanted press coverage to help boost her online & in-person coaching business prior to the launch of her book, Grief: A Love Story

SOLUTION: The PR campaign resulted in international coverage from the UK and Australia as well as Canada and the US, leading to a significant increase in clients for Tara.
